The Studio 737 Art Gallery
The Gallery itself is a large, 2960 sq. ft. building which is divided into 10 display rooms with additional space for an office, two washrooms, matting, framing and glass cutting equipment areas, and storage.
A high standard has been maintained in the material presented, and it is the owner's understanding that this is the largest gallery in Canada which features only original works, with no reproductions.
More than 100 artists have had their work featured here, and a list of the current exhibitors, as well as pictures and listings for each piece, is available on the Gallery's Website.
There has been extensive work done to create lighting and display fixtures which show the art in creative and clear arrangements,
And the facilites for framing and matting the artwork are all available on the site. The current owners are prepared to train the new owners in the required skills for doing this work.
The building is efficiently heated with 4 propane heaters, and it is air conditioned for summer clients. People spending their vacations at the hundreds of lakes in the Land 'o Lakes Region often make this a destination for a day trip.
The signage is ample and in good condition, ready to draw in customers from this extra wide section of the Trans-Canada Highway.
Over the past ten years, this gallery has averaged $357,000 annually in sales, returning a gross profit of approximately $150,000 per year, and a net profit which can exceed $130,000 depending on staffing and other costs.
